Eritrean Community of Hull & East Yorkshire

ECOHEY is a community led organisation set up to promote the interests of the Eritrean community that live and work in Hull and East Yorkshire. Whether you are new to the area or have lived here for years, we are a place to connect and share experiences, as well as find help.

The community was founded in 2021 by Eritreans living in Hull. We aim to help our Eritrean community members settle into the area and make Hull and East Yorkshire their home.

What we do

We engage in a wide variety of activities such as leisure, sports, vocational, and lifestyle. We also help improve the health and wellbeing of our community members thanks to our support organisations.

We are a community that is growing every day. We thrive on our members networking and getting to know each other through their shared experiences. By joining us and growing our network, you can contribute to increased awareness of Eritrea and also help maintain our cultural traditions and customs here in the UK.
